1st Humidor - Middle Stakes

Backworth-bred Humidor made it 4 wins from just 6 starts when powering home in the Middle Stakes over 1200m at Scottsville Wednesday for trainer Tony Rivalland with maestro Anton Marcus up.

This exciting son of Miesque's Approval, out of Lewinsky's Lover by Jallad, continues to impress over the sprint distance. Humidor clocked a time of 66,98 seconds over the Scottsville 1200m in February, beating the previous record of 67 seconds flat held by the Mike de Kock-trained Kildonan set when winning one of the most fiercely contested Grade 1 Golden Horse Casino Sprints of all time, where he beat three other Grade 1 winners in Mythical FlightWar Artist and Rebel King.

2nd Attenborough - Cape of Good Hope Nursery (Grade 3)

Attenborough fired home to secure a nailbiter second behind rival Sergeant Hardy (Captain Al) in the Grade 3 Nursery Stakes over 1200m at Kennilworth Saturday for trainer Joey Ramsden with Donovan Dillon up.

Attenborough, bred by Pippa Mickleburgh and Backworth Stud, is a son of Western Winter out of In Camera by Caesour, and has won twice and placed twice from just 4 starts.

3rd Reigning Wave - MR76 Handicap (F & M)

Reigning Wave took a thrilling third in a photo under jockey Brandon Lerena Saturday at Greyville, with just 10cm separating the top three at the post after a 1400m polly battle.
