Colour Of Courage Delivers The Best Developers Cup

Colour Of Courage - The Best Developers Cup / Mauritius Turf Club (p)

Backworth-bred Colour Of Courage (Judpot - Exclusive Honour) opened his winning account in Mauritius Saturday for trainer Gilbert Rousset with Mauritian jockey Reehaze Hoolash up. The Suncoast KZN Yearling Sales graduate blitzed the Champ de Mars 1365m, charging from behind to score by half a length from stablemate Millenimesta, followed by Kapiti Coast and Starspangledbanner.

Whilst racing in South Africa for trainers Michael and Rae Miller, Colour Of Courage became the first Graded winner for Varsfontein Stud sire sensation Judpot, when trouncing a quality field to claim victory in the Grade 2 Umkhomazi Stakes. Owned by Michel Nairac, Robert Maingard and Baroness Bergsma of Longford at the time, Colour Of Courage went on to be crowned Outstanding Two-Year-Old Colt of his generation at the prestigious KZN Breeders Awards.

Congratulations to his new owners, stable and all winning connections!
