Choir Sings of a Choisir Maiden

 Tony Rivalland
This was a well deserved win. I think she’ll go on to be a great broodmare.
— Tony Rivalland / Trainer

By a global sprinting sensation and Australian racing legend in Choisir and boasting not only beauty but a fine temperament too, Choir Maiden always promised to be something special.

On Wednesday, bathed in Scottsville's golden Autumn light, the 5-year-old mare won her fifth very well for trainer Tony Rivalland over a speedy 1200m under jockey Anton Marcus. Jumping on terms, Choir Maiden was in contention early before being switched to the inside, kicking for home in blistering fashion over the final 200m.

Congratulations to great friend Mrs Mary Liley, with whom Backworth races Choir Maiden in partnership.
